Netraheen Vikas Sansthan is working for rehabilitation of blind, deaf & dumb and mentally disabled students since last 35 years in Suncity Jodhpur, India by providing free education with boarding and lodging facility separately for boys and Girls. The School was started on 15th August 1977 with only two blind students the number of which has gone to 541 at present out of which 158 are girls.
Our Mission
Netraheen Vikas Sansthan, located in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, is dedicated to offering free education to individuals with sensory disabilities. Our organization strives to empower these individuals through knowledge and skill development. By providing them with learning opportunities, we aim to enhance their quality of life and foster independence within the community.
Our Current Impact

​Founded with two blind students in 1977, the school has now served 4,626 students

It operates separate hostels and daily boarding for over 575 people, and maintains a 100% pass rate in 10th and 12th Board exams

Extending beyond academics, students have earned more than 300 state-level medals, plus two Silver and three Bronze at the PAN Olympic Games (USA, 2001), and 7 gold, 10 silver, 10 bronze at national Paralympics

The institution supports learning with 6,500+ Braille books, 2,768 recorded audio cassettes, a 17-computer accessible lab, and an in-house Braille printing machine—all provided free alongside regular medical checkups and vocational training.
Our Future

To provide education and training to blind, deaf and dumb, mentally disabled boys and girls for their rehabilitation

To make available the facilities provided by the government to blind and deaf & dumb children.

To upgrade Braille press, library and cassette library for the blind.

To arrange for the treatment to those, whose eyes are worth for treatment and also to create awareness in this field.

To arrange seminars and workshops on the problems of disabled persons and its solution thereof.

To conduct special surveys on the blind persons and try to solve their problems with the help of Government and the society

To establish them in self employment by giving vocational training.

To undertake all those tasks which may be related with the development and growth of the blind & disabled persons.
